For us South Africans getting to Oshkosh is an adventure on its own. On previous visits we have travelled by Air France via Charles de Gaule, KLM via Amsterdam and on numerous occasions with Etihad via Abu Dhabi. This year, as in the past we were again part of Neil Bowden's AirAdventure tour and our journey with Qatar via Doha to Chigaco took approximately 23 hours excluding the three hour bus ride to Oshkosh in Wisconsin.

Leaving OR Tambo at 21.30 on Saturday 23 July we arrived at our Campsite at Oshkosh at 21.00 on Sunday the 24th.
